DAY 7 IN CHONG QING

OKAY THIS IS REALLY THE LAST DAY
HUHU :(

Since it's morning, I took a few scenery shots from my hotel room.

BREAKFAST

And this was really my last meal in Chongqing :(
It was also another buffet breakfast.
The spread wasn't as great as the buffet in Le Meridien but it was still really good.
The view from my seat were really beautiful as well!

AIRPORT ROUND 2

We made our way to the airport again and the only store opened was the duty-free shop.
I was hoping for more shops to be opened as it was earlier this time.

We went back to the same place and we realized the plane was still delayed until now.

Eventually, we managed to get up the plane this time round and off we go!

This was the first time I sat with them throughout the trip:)
And I realized that I did not take any picture with only the 2 of them.

My friend was able to get this spaghetti for lunch.

But when the air steward reached me, there weren't any more spaghetti
So I had to take the Mala rice...
Mala all the way!
It was a blessing in disguise though.
The mala rice was really good!

And we reached Singapore at around 6.30pm.

One last picture at the airport before we separate!

This marks the end of my 6+1 day trip to Chongqing.
I was regretting not joining the previous group who flew to Japan but it seemed like I would regret it if I joined them instead of this group!

Thanks for sharing my memories with me!
HAVE A GREAT YEAR AHEAD!

DAY 6 IN CHONG QING

Haiz, time flies so fast and its already the last day...

Anyways, we had our breakfast at the hotel and we had to leave for our final itinerary.
Which is the Love Manor at Chong Qing.
Things were pretty sensitive so I'm not going to post much about it :)

But I took some pictures outside it!

Since it's the last day I should include some appreciation note here:)
Thanks for being such a funny and enjoyable duo to hang out with.
They are the first people in my life to take so many candids for me and always helping me to take solo shots at random places.
All those shots turned out well and I would never have those photos if not for them.
I appreciated all the photos they took for me and I hope the photos I took for them are great too!
I have always longed for friends who would help me take pictures randomly :)

I bet Hani and Azmina are still gonna say "Be more natural!" and "Stop being so stiff!"

LUNCH

Okay, I have no idea where this was but we had our lunch here.

This is the first time I see salad in Chongqing

Oily food all day err day

The same thing again -we rushed our lunch for some time to go shopping.
But after rushing, we were told that there wasn't any more time.
So we kinds wasted our lunch?

All the feels coming to me.
I dun wanna leave. :(

AIRPORT

My friends bought these pretty bookmarks!
Tbh it's not very cheap.
It's 10rmb each.

And we were on our way to the airport.
Although it was a long journey, I didn't sleep.
Its the last bus ride in Chongqing already.

All the feels coming back.

And at the airport, we had some time to shop.
But after checking in, there was only one duty-free shop, one Starbucks, and another fast food chain.

There wasn't much to shop.

Fast forward a few hours.

HAHAHA look at the first row.
OUR FLIGHT IS DELAYED!

After waiting for an hour, the staff of silk air gave us free cup noodles!
And in another hour, the staff gave us more chocolates and biscuits!
It's totally fine! Everyone was enjoying the flight delay as we began playing cards to entertain ourselves.

Update.
It's 8.33pm while we were supposed to fly off at 6.10pm.

And our teacher treated us all to Starbucks.
I guess she was worried about us while we were all fine.
Super thankful to have my teacher with us the whole journey.

2nd update. Playing the cards provided by silkair

AND FINALLY, OUR FLIGHT IS CANCELED!!
WOOO!
ONE MORE DAY IN CHONGQING!

Our teachers were all worried about us but we were totally fine!
For me, I appreciated the extra day in Chongqing!

But it was a long wait to get our luggage back.

That I spent my 11.11 there.

At around 12am we finally got our luggage and we made our way to the complimentary hotel.
The YinXin Century Hotel.
IT'S ANOTHER 5-STAR HOTEL!

The lobby is one of the important parts of hotels

Look at the price of each room!
We were given a chance to choose if we want to have a room to ourselves or to have a room for 2 people.

My room keys.
The hotels in China always give one key instead of 2.
It is kinda inconvenient as there are 2 people staying in a room.

LOOK AT HOW BIG MY ROOM IS!
This is definitely not the cheapest room they can offer.
I think they ran out of the cheapest room so they gave me and my partner this room.
Some of my friends' rooms are quite small.

If the video is too fast, check out the pictures of the room.
Oh, if you realized, there was NO door to the toilet.
From my partner's bed, he can look directly to the toilet bathtub.
Explains why I couldn't use it.

The hotel provided this as our supper.

Next, we heard that one of my friends is sleeping alone.
So we went down to take a look.

THIS IS THE ROOM FOR A SINGLE PERSON??
There wasn't any door to the toilet too. Kinda shocking.

There is another friend who was sleeping alone.
Her room was exactly mine just that my 2 beds were replaced with a single king-sized bed.

To be honest, those rooms are not for a single person.
They are for couples.

I bought this bowl of noodles right outside the hotel as there is a convenient store.
Do try this noodles out if you happen to pass by it.
It is really nice.

And my friends decided to order room service after I ate my noodles.
The portion is humungous.
But the food wasn't very nice.

Yeap. There are the people whom I gather with every night.
I miss them.

THIS MARKS THE END OF MY DAY  6 AND ERM STAY TUNED TO DAY 7?!?!?
