KenRambles: DAY 4 IN CHONG QING (PART 2)

Hey there!

It's the 2nd part of day 4 and we reached the Fairy mountain (仙女山)!

We were supposed to take a train to the so-called "farm"

But we missed it by 5 minutes cos of some machinery blocking our road while traveling.

So, we had to walk all the way to the "farm".

I feel like the route is longer than 1km...

So from the starting area, you can choose to walk the human pathway or the car's road.

It felt more logical to walk on the pathway than the road,

so we naturally took it.

IT.WAS.THE.WORST.CHOICE.EVER.

The pathway was full of ups and downs, twists and turns and it was soooo much longer than the road.

If you are visiting there anytime soon, make sure to take the road or the train instead

4. LITTLE. LAMBS. ONLY???

^^ My reaction when I reached there.

Since we were already there, we should at least enjoy the scenery right?

Seems like the mother? goat is protecting its child.

Yeap the view sure is nice!

We managed to get close to some goats so here are some videos!

I guess the goats were still afraid of us.

And one of my classmates tried communicating with them XD

I spent only about 10 minutes there and it was time to go back.

This board shows us what animals is present at the farm.
But I only saw the goats?

And we saw a map!

Look at the distance. We really walked more than 1km.
Imagine walking down from the mountain and you need to walk another few Kilometers...
Legs day :)

"Once bitten twice shy"
Not gonna take the pathway again.
It seemed like a great choice!
We walked back just when the sun is about to set.
Gorgeous view man!

Ps. Look at the never-ending road.

My friend and I decided to run when there is a slope.
So basically we ran for half the remaining journey as there were plenty of slopes.

And we finally found more people.

After another 10 plus minutes of running, we reached the bus.

DINNER TIME!

So we reached our hotel for dinner after putting down our luggage.

Night stay at Baerman Hotel.

We were famished so we dug into these 2 appetizers.

This dish here is really very good.
But be careful not to bite on the chili, its DAMN hot.

These were the only photos I managed to take as we had to rush our dinner for the next schedule.

WULONG FAMOUS PERFORMANCE

After the rushed dinner, we made our way to watch the

Wulong impression performance (印象武隆表演).

It was a long journey, so here are some scenery pictures!

We thought we were there when we saw this.
But nope,

Took us another 10 minutes to get here.
But FINALLY we're HERE!

After purchasing the tickets, there was a booth where you can rent another jacket for those who didn't wear enough.
And I thought that I was warm enough as I had 4 layers of clothing.
