DAY 4 IN CHONG QING (PART 1)

Its DAY 4
and we had the same breakfast as day 3.
-Just that they put the egg into our plastic bag cos no one took the egg the previous day.😬

So after a ~2.5 hours journey, we reached the toilet stop.

There were a few shops at the stop. Which includes Macdonalds, bubble tea shop and a small supermarket.
I got this "Dragon's beard candy" which totally does not taste like one.
I felt like I was cheated πŸ˜•
It tastes exactly like...

This
I mean I like this cake a lot.
But I just can't stop feeling cheated.
I also got this peanut candy from the shop there.
THIS TASTE GREAT!

I also got myself a rose milk tea.
It tastes like 10% milk 90% tea.
... So you asked if I had written the name wrong?
Nope there just wasn't the rose taste.

Since I woke up, I didn't feel like sleeping again.
So here are some pictures of the scenery.

LUNCHTIME

After around half an hour, we reached the restaurant for lunch.
So for those people who bought food from Macs were in trouble as they had no more space for food.
In addition to that, our bus made many turns up the mountain before arriving at this place which leads to many people feeling nauseous too.
Food wastage we made here was quite a lot.
We were greeted by this dish here.
So you could have guessed correctly.
It's cold and hard.

This is bamboo shoot.
Probably the only light dish here.
I do not know what the chef is thinking.
They put fries under the fish and as you can see,
the fries were soaked in OIL.
Probably the chef wants to give more flavor to the fries but...
Isn't it soggy and more oily now?
I still eat the fries anyway.
And here are the rest of the food.

Wulong Karst Region's 3 Natural Bridges (ζ¦ιš†ε€©η”ŸδΈ‰ζ‘₯)

The first thing we saw after arriving at Wulong was this!
Hi Bumblebee.
A scene of Transformer 4 was taken here, thus they have some models from Transformer 4 here.

Look at the magnificent view!

So we got on this Wulong national geological park's observation deck.
Yes, if it breaks, we will all die.
Everyone had to wear the shoe cover so that we do not dirty the glass.

Another group photo!
Okay, I have some explaining to do.

It was 30~32 Degrees there and I am wearing 4 layers???
I must be crazy.

Literally me.
Alamak.

I had no idea if I had mistaken or I was actually given the wrong information.
It was my teacher who said that it would be 0 to 14 degrees when we arrive at Wulong and that it will be colder than that in the evening so it was recommended for us to wear extra layers.
MMM regretting my life choices now.

Yeap so I took off a layer.
Couldn't take off another one here cos I had no hands to hold it.

It was really crowded there that we could hardly take any pictures with friends.

The view was really really beautiful.

After staying at the observation deck for some time, its time to walk down.

So all we had to do is to follow this track ALL.THE.WAY.DOWN the mountain.
The route was no joke.
After reaching the base, your legs will be shaking unknowingly.

Yeap, all the way down.

I was really happy when I reach the base.

Look at how high the top is.
We WALKED all the way down. :)

There was no time for us to go into the cave πŸ˜•
It would have been a great experience to enter.

A closer view of the cave

I wanna go in too!
We saw this palace-like building and I did not get to enter due to time constraints again.
It seemed to be the main part of Wulong.

This is the second transformer model!

This was supposed to be a mini waterfall

A closer view

Seems like birds live there?

Look at how nicely crafted the dragon is!

This is a sign stating that we have reached the Eagle Heavenly Pit.

Can you see the Eagle?

So I walked past another tour group and their tour leader ask them to raise their hands
to cover the sky.
There was some meaning behind this but I missed the explanation.
To be honest, I felt quite stupid to follow them XD
What am I doing with my life?

Ohh yasss I love these pictures.

I like how 2 of my friends photobombed and it still turns out okay.

Not sure if this is the dragon Wulong is about but it kinda resembles, doesn't it?

More waterfalls

Is that a dragon head popping out of the water? -Azmina 2k18

I predict couples will take pictures here.
Such a romantic place to take a picture.

Since I'm lonely af, I shall take a solo shot

Doesn't this look like a giant's hand??

Yesss we finally finish walking through Wulong karst.
Our legs were so tired.

At the end of the route, there was a shop for you to take the pictures taken by the photo stations there.
This small keychain was complimentary (Counted in your ticket pricing) So do take it!

They will also ask you if you would like to purchase a larger sized picture at 20RMB
This picture caught my eyes. So I had to get it.
To be honest, they printed and laminated every picture.
So it was quite a waste as many pictures were being thrown away when no one buys it.

If you look closely, U can see a small shuttle bus.
We took that after arriving here.
It was the FASTEST CAR/BUS EVER.
The only thing I can remember was that I was ready to take some nice photos and within seconds,
I was holding my phone tightly to prevent it from flying away.

So I ended up having 2 pictures before the car moves.

And another one when I started.
I had to keep my phone safe from then.

This marks the end of my first part of day 4 as it was really long.
Stay tuned to the second part of day 4 where we visited the Xian Nu Shan (δ»™ε₯³ε±±).
